Recently there have been major changes to the way in which education and health services work together with parents to support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. As a school, we are required to make available information about how we identify and provide for children with additional needs in our school. Every school has been asked to answer 14 questions and make our responses available to the local authority and parents. We are also required to publish more detailed information about additional provision available in our school.

These documents are curriculum overviews for each subject

NB: the R.E. curriculum is a Surrey scheme of work as there is no prescibed curriculum nationally for this subject.

We are very happy to welcome volunteers into school.  Some volunteers assist with class trips, some do extra-curricular clubs, and some help children with their reading among other things.

If you would like to volunteer at Cranmere then we do ask you to complete a DBS 'enhanced' check (from the disclosure and barring service).  This used to be called a CRB check.  This can take a while to complete this check, so please ask well in advance of the date you would like to start volunteering.

For information about how to obtain a DBS check, please contact the school office on 020 8398 5580.

The Pupil Premium (PP) is allocated to children from disavantaged families who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), or who have been looked after for more than 6 months.  This includes pupils eligible for FSM at any point in the last 6 years.

Schools are free to spend the PP as they see fit.  However, we will be held accountable for how we have used the additional funding to support children from low-income families.  We are also required to publish online information about how we have used the PP.
