At Cranmere, we are committed to following the programmes of study as required by the National Curriculum 2014. We aim for all of our children to develop as literate, numerate and technologically competent individuals, within a broad, balanced, exciting and challenging curriculum. We provide rich and varied  experiences for pupils to  develop and apply a broad range of knowledge, skills and understanding. We particularly focus upon deepening learning to achieve mastery.

Our creative approach to learning means some subjects are taught through a topic and some are covered as discrete subjects. This enables us to ensure balance and progression across the school. Our curriculum is supported by carefully chosen learning opportunities and educational visits. Through our curriculum, we also promote the spiritual, moral, social, cultural, physical, mental and emotional development of our pupils. We encourage our children to aspire and be the very best they can be and attain the highest personal achievements they can.

Please see below  our curriculum overview documents for each subject and year group.
