The 6Rs are our school values and play an integral role within our school learning.

These are:

We follow the 6Rs as a school wide approach to behaviour and learning. This enables us to talk about how we learn, foster excellent behaviour and give our children lifelong skills. These skills are celebrated weekly in our celebration assembly and children reflect daily on how these attributes help them learn.

The British values: Democracy, The rule of law, Individual liberty, Mutual respect and Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs are embedded throughout our PSHCE Lifeskills curriculum and are visited regularly within assemblies.  We believe that integrating these within the children’s learning, alongside a carefully planned SMSC calendar, enables our children to reflect upon and develop understanding of the key Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural values.

See below for our British Values statement and our current SMSC calendar.
