The Friends of Cranmere is the school's Parent and Teacher Association. It is a registered charity with the purpose of providing support and assistance to the school in the advancement of the education of the pupils at Cranmere through:
- Fundraising to provide facilities and equipment to the school
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships between the school, parents & others associated with the school.
We are extremely fortunate at Cranmere to have a Friends committee that has been an integral part of the school community over numerous years, deliverying many thousands of pounds to support our children's education with additional equipment and support. We are made up entirely of volunteers who organise events and activities to fundraise and work closely alongside the school to ensure the best use is made of the funds we raise.
The Friends' Committee
The committee members are the parents, guardians and carers of any pupil currently attending the school. Involvement is entirely voluntary and we have members who have key roles; members who are regularly involved in the work of Friends and those who prefer to just help out on an ad-hoc basis. ALL help, however big or small, is encouraged and valued greatly by Friends and indeed by Cranmere's Headteacher.
