Cranmere Primary School is a maintained school and therefore our term dates (excluding Inset days) are set by the Local Authority. 

Inset days, which are set by school, are listed on this page and on our school calendar. Nursery start and finish dates are also likely to be slightly different to the main school term dates - please see below for more information

Autumn Term 2024

Inset Day - Monday 2nd September (staff only)

Inset Day - Tuesday 3rd September (staff only)

First Day of Term - Wednesday 4th September 

Inset Day - Friday 25th October (staff only)

Half Term - Monday 28th October - Friday 1st November

Last Day of Term - Friday 20th December - pupils finish at 1:30pm

Nursery closed - Friday 20th December

* Please note Nursery dates for the Autumn Term are as follows.  Puffins start on Wednesday 4th September at 8:45am and finish on Wednesday 18th December at 11:45am. Owls start on Wednesday 4th September at 12:15pm and finish on Thursday 19th December at 3:00pm.

Spring Term 2025

First Day of Term - Tuesday 7th January

Half Term - Monday 17th February - Friday 21st February

Last Day of Term - Friday 4th April - pupils finish at 1:30pm
