A Thought Provoking Trip To The Imperial World Museum
On Tuesday 5th March, our Year 6 pupils travelled by foot and train to visit the Imperial War Museum at Waterloo in central London. It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to spend time fully comprehending the extent of the conflicts of World War One and World War Two, massive conflicts the world had never before experienced.
The visit provided a superb chance to participate in various interactive games and exhibits, including experiencing life in the trenches and hearing stories from real people.
Mr Gilbert met the children upon their return to school and said there was a respectful buzz in the air. The children, although saddened by the over whelming size of the conflicts and plight of all parties, were also truly appreciative of the changes that have been made in society to maintain global peace.
Miss Ali, Miss Frame and Mrs Holly thank Year 6 for representing our school in such a mature, sensible and considerate manner.
