Mr Paul Gilbert
Welcome Message From The Head Teacher
Welcome to Cranmere Primary School and Nursery
Dear families,
My name is Paul Gilbert and I am the Headteacher at Cranmere Primary School. I am extremely proud to be in a position to lead this exceptional school. This is my second year leading our school and I have enjoyed every moment. At Cranmere, we believe that education is not just about academics; it's about nurturing the whole child, instiling values that last a lifetime, and creating a supportive and inclusive environment for every student.
Our core values are kindness, respect, curiosity, resilience, self-belief, and responsibility. These form the foundation of everything we do here. These values guide us in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive. Kindness is at the heart of our community, teaching students the importance of empathy, compassion, and caring for one another. Respect is the cornerstone of our interactions, promoting understanding and appreciation for diverse perspectives. We encourage curiosity, igniting a passion for learning that goes beyond the classroom. Resilience is key in facing challenges, helping students develop the grit and determination to overcome obstacles. Self-belief empowers our students to dream big and strive for their goals, while responsibility instils a sense of duty and accountability towards themselves and others.
We are committed to providing a nurturing environment that supports your child's growth academically, socially, and emotionally. Our staff are an incredibly passionate and committed team who I am very proud to lead. Throughout my time at the school, their commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for our children has been clear to see.
At this point, I would like to welcome you into school to see what we do. Our school grounds are extensive and provide fantastic opportunities for our children to thrive. We welcome visits and I will find time to give you a personalised tour. As a parent of two school aged children I know how important it is to get the feel of a school, see the learning and meet the staff. I will ensure that you get this opportunity during your visit to the school. If you would like any further information or to book a tour please contact the school and I will personally get back to you in good time. As parents, you play an essential role in your child's education, and we look forward to partnering with you on this exciting journey.
I look forward to welcoming you to Cranmere.
Kind regards,
Paul Gilbert
