Cooking Up An Anglo Saxon Feast

Thursday was a very exciting day for Turtles class, having designed individual Anglo Saxon Broth recipes based on what they believed Anglo Saxons would have grown and eaten at the time, they then proceeded in making their  broths. 

Everyone had a fun time chopping, cutting, stirring, mixing and of course eating. The vegetarian broths according to Turtles Food Connisseurs were...delicious! 

What! A wonderful way for our children to have a tangible glimpse of the past and bring those historical stories alive.
