Warning! Reading Bug Outbreak
It's getting bigger and bigger as more and more of our wonderful pupils participate in this year's reading campaign. It's so infectious it's been officially announced as a 'Reading Bug'.
Spreading widely across every year group, nothing can stop our pupils either at home or school reading books, undertaking book reviews and participating in class reading discussions. So far, the evidence suggests there has been a lot of good reading behaviour with the book selection envelopes located outside Mr Gilbert's office starting to bulge with the constant supply of reading raffle tickets.
Mr Gilbert said "I am truly impressed with the excitement and buzz this brilliant initiative by Mrs McGovern has brought to the school and I'm looking forward to drawing the winners at the end of term".
Each winner will receive a book, the titles include: Heist & Seek, Wolfstongue, A Mouse Called Julian, Enstein The Penguin, Skandar & The Unicorn Thief, Luna & The Sky dragon and The Drama Llama.
Good luck everyone and a big thank you to Mrs McGovern.
This is one bug we never want to go away.
