Seeing Shades Of Green

On Friday the school was awash with multiple shades of green: olive, emerald, forest green, sage and lime to name but a few, plus there was an abundance of colourful and flowery outfits, creating a visual cacophony of colour. It was as if the school had become a flowering wildflower meadow. Mr Gilbert was very impressed with everyone's efforts, and as he remarked, it definitely was a great way to support Cranmere Eco Council's efforts in raising funds for our class gardens and increasing the biodiversity throughout the school.

Overall our Eco-Schools Green Mufti Day fundraising event raised in excess of £311 and with the generosity of Friends of Cranmere, this figure has since doubled, as they kindly offered to match whatever sum the school raised on the day.
